What other conferance could Iowa State compete?

We could dominate the MAC.

What in our recent history of out of conference football games leads you to believe we have the capability of dominating the MAC?

Yeah the PAC 12 is probably the second best conference behind the SEC and they may end up being better than the SEC (probably not but still). The ACC has Clemson but not too much otherwise. The big 12 is the the weakest BCS conference this year, and we still wont make a bowl game so yeah, lets just stay in the big 12

Have you watched FSU? They are better than Clemson. Miami isn't bad. Georgia tech isn't bad. Virginia Tech is mediocre. In the B12, Baylor and Oklahoma might be really good but you could make an argument for every other team being bad.
