Re: Klein

Did anyone see Nebraska trying to rip off Arnaud's head and step on Darks? Also did anyone see them cheap shot Gabbert last week?

Re: Klein

It was one burkhead's first TD. Yes, we saw it. No, it wasn't called. It happens. Suspension probably won't happen. There are already like 5 other threads on this...

Re: Klein

I want to see a video of this, I must have missed it when it happened.

Not much to see. It was right at the goal line, and Klein was pushing on anything he could get his hands on to keep him out of the end zone. Just so happened that it was a helmet, and he turned the guy's hat sideways. Should have been a penalty, but that's about it.

Did anyone see Klein try to break Burkhead's neck in the endzone? I couldn't believe he did that. And then they give Legate a personal foul for trying to get him off Burkhead. That was not something that a football player should do. I would not be surprised if we see a suspension coming.

So, you go with this as your first post? Interesting.

The same thing happened to Arnaud on the QB sneak for a touchdown. No Cyclone player retaliated and no facemask nor personal fouls were called.

Re: Klein

I am 1 billion percent sure he was not attempting to break the kid's neck. Nice try though.

For the record, Arnaud also got his facemask tugged on pretty good on his TD. Funny I don't hear Nebbie fans complaining about that.

Or that late hit of Osborne on Darks trying to break his back. Yeah, there will lots of suspensions levied. Take it to a corn*ucker board *********.

I thought that play was pretty bad. I definitely don't think he should be suspended but that is worse than the hit Eric Martin got suspended for.

Baloney.

And sooooo, I am guessing you are thinking it was just fine that a Nebraska player cranked on Arnaud head on the non fumble when he was down, or the late hit Osborne delivered on Darks was okay, right?

I could care less what you guys think. There's a picture on the CR newspaper's subscriber's website showing one of our players being held by two different NE players and also a facemask. Of course no penalty was called.

Why don't you just go an concentrate on how thrilling it is going to be to go watch football in Bloomington or at Purdue or Champagne.

:biglaugh:

Yes, because he jumped up into a guy and lead into a hit with his helmet.

lot of sarcasm going on in this thread?

I wouldn't have a problem with him getting suspended, there is just playing football and dirty. I would call what he did dirty. But the nubbies are just butthurt that they had a player suspended and are now over-blowing everything so the "injustice" gets returned.

I actually seen the play and when the flag went flying it figured for sure it was on Klein for facemask or some other personal foul because it looked bad from my seat. Turns out it was a flag on kNU's 48 for hitting Klein in the head which under the circumstances was probably warranted as I would expect teammates to stand up for each other.

Any NU fan complaining about one personal foul that should have been called needs to grow up a go away. NU had at least 6 personal fouls just as bad, if not worse than that play that were not called. NU was taking cheap shots after the whistle on almost every defensive play.
