Was the weather in Chicago a big factor in the game? It looked like on the radar this morning they were going to get some nasty weather there.

Weather wasn't much of a factor at all. It looked like it was going to rain all game this morning, but the rain stayed away. Weather can't be blamed for the performance today.

I would agree, but I had no high hopes for this season. I had expectations of a 7-5, possibly 8-4 type season, and that was more due to the schedule than anything. I expected there to be some kinks, but today was more than kinks unfortunately. I'm very worried about the game next week.

Think Iowa will be favored by 6, but heck I hope we are underdogs every game we play. Gives Rhoads something extra to get the team fired up about.

You really need an explanation? Without looking anything up I believe ISU has covered something like 8 of the past 10 vs Iowa.

This.

I think the spread will be something odd, like 7.5. Iowa is usually favored by more at home. If Tulsa was favored in the Jack by 1.5-2, Hawks will be favored by more than 3 with ISU on their home field. We haven't taken a game in Iowa City for 10 years. I'm hoping we are due and I think if we are Vegas' dogs in this game we'll surprise just like this week.

Go State!
