Doesn't totally work. You could have one post and get rep from Angie and have a ton of rep/post or you could have one post with 10 reps from newbs and have little rep.

In the rep rankings, isn't that considered already? I don't think rep rankings are simply a ranking of how many total times you have been rep'd.

Perhaps I am wrong.

When you sort by rep its probably sorting by how many 'rep points' you have. A high-rep user drops a ton of rep points on you, while a new poster may drop very little or even no rep.

In that case the rep rank comparison with post rank is a good indicator of poster quality!
