It's OK, you can say it. The dude is just strange.

Bruce probably was curious as well...I saw Bruce was at the Indian Hills game tonight. I'm curious to know who he was there to see.
I want him to succeed. He doesn't cheat. He's a genuinely good guy with a great family. Yes, he has some curious mannerisms, like telling the truth, never sitting, and not getting technicals. But overall, he's a solid dude who we should all hope is successful at some level.
I think the Big 12 gets 7 (with a very small outside chance of getting 8). The next set of games and the tournament will sort out who gets left out. It would be cool if it worked out just right to get 8 (hard to imagine KSU left out with 9 conference wins). Of course, if we knock out someone because we beat them in the tournament, then I don't care.
Weber's hurdle before the season was upper half finish and a dance card. He'll accomplish that. Remember when we had this discussion before the season and every one of you had K-State 8, 9, 10 in this conference. And most had ISU finishing above.

We'll see how it plays out. Many K-State fans want to be Ku without football, which explains a lot of the consternation. It used to be that way before Lon left for Illinois. But many bad choices have left a tough situation today for Weber.
I’m guessing to see Ivan Aurrecoechea. He’s from the same basketball academy as Brodziansky.I saw Bruce was at the Indian Hills game tonight. I'm curious to know who he was there to see.

It's never been "that way".
KSU had been in more NCAA's than KU up thru 1990. KSU had been in 20 to KU's 19 when KSU decided to throw all resources into football. (not my data)

Conference tourneys didnt start until late 70s. And the data he gave was only through 1990.KU with 38 conference championships but only 3 conference tourney titles?
But between 1977 and 1990 KSU only won 2 (1977, 1980), not 9. And they only made 3 more finals (1978, 1981, 1988). KU made 2 more finals.Conference tourneys didnt start until late 70s. And the data he gave was only through 1990.

Predictably, Surly's data is incorrect.
From 1947 to 1979, the Big 7/8 held a Holiday Tournament. SMU was a non-member in 1947 but was invited to the Tournament and won the thing. Of the 33 Holiday Tournaments that were played, KU won 13, KSU won 7 (ISU won 2).
The Big 8 post-season tournament didn't start until 1977. Guess there were three years when both Holiday and post-season tournaments were held? Weird.
Of the 20 post-season tournaments that were played, KU won 4, KSU won 2 (ISU won the last one in 1996). So up until 1990, KU had won 16 (excluding the '92 title), KSU had won 9.
Well done Surly, you nailed the KSU # and were only 13 off of KU's number.
And he never shuts up. At some point you have to let the guys execute what you have taught them in practice.I don't know about you guys, but watching KSU wears me out, because Weber just simply can't hold still. I think he's trying to play for them. No coach I've ever seen is more into the game.
