I think it's rude when women continually send me naked pictures of themselves.

One of the sisters in law was griping about finding out her uncle died via text message. When the bereaved aunt had called twice with no answer and then called and left her a message asking her to call asap and she still didn't call her back, not really sure what she expected her to do, drive 800 miles to tell her or something I suppose. She claimed she didn't recognize the number but ignoring the voicemail seemed foolish at best.

One thing I find increasingly annoying is invitations that are issued through Facebook only. My nieces do this all the time even though they know several of their uncles and grandparents don't have Facebook. They just assume someone will inform the rest of the relatives.

They should probably just get on facebook.

I was just about to post this. My 8 yr old sprung this one on me the other day.

If I leave a message and ask for a call back and don't get one, I'll find you. Wherever you are, you can't hide from me.

here are some pet peeves of mine. I was wondering how everyone else thought.
which is more rude...

1. not returning a text
2. not returning an email
3. someone interrupting you

This is about a girl, isn't it? Maybe she's just not that in to you?

All depend on context.

There can be reasonable excuses for all three.

Also, I'm disappointed no one has posted that stupid "why you gotta be so rude" song that was all over the place this summer.

Definitely interrupting, and on that note the people that start talking right when you finish are kind of annoying too, because you know they probably didn't listen to you anyway and were thinking about what they wanted to say while waiting for you to finish.

I check my voicemails about once a month no matter how many I have, or when they max out around 13 or 14. Mostly it's just job recruiters and I'm not particularly looking. My parents figured out after a couple years that I don't check them often, so if I don't answer they send me a text or call the wife. Sometimes they just skip the trouble and call the wife first at this point. I do answer when they call and I notice it though, just have my phone on silent. I don't have any friends that call anymore, unless they're hammered, and even that has pretty much slowed down now that they can just send me a snap. Also, I deleted Fb, so that's nice.

I respond to texts quickly or when I wake up and emails at least within a few days depending on how important it is, might respond same day.

I have to go with interrupting.

Nowadays younger people equate texting with talking and fret if someone doesn't respond within the next 2 minutes or so. If I text someone and they don't respond I don't worry about it unless it is something important but if that is the case I would call.

In complete agreement with you on this. Lots of times I text not even expecting an answer. And when it's important, I call. Kids today don't even know how to have a normal conversation.

AND GET THE HELL OFF MY LAWN!!!

3 all the way, used to be around someone that while I was talking about some subject or another he would interject at some point and start talking about something else completely. Have that done to you a couple times and tada you dont speak to that person at all after awhile.

Interrupting...and I feel like people do it more now.

I sometimes wonder if it's the speed that we have now of getting information, and having so much access to be able to 'voice' opinions on things like CF, FB, etc, that has an impact on people being very quick to interject without processing or listening.

Or if people are actually influenced by reality TV that puts very toxic people and their behaviors in the limelight like it's normal.

Possible they never received the email or text.........hard to justify the interrupting part.

I'm someone who doesn't take my phone all the time including outdoor activities, exercising, etc., and also don't have my phone set up directly to email/internet, so I tend to be delayed when someone sends me something but expects a really quick response.
