Which TCU player will Baylor try to take out?

I watched the recorded broadcast last night since I was at the game. Early in the game the announcers said that Rhule told them that they needed to keep hitting him (Montgomery) to take him out of the game. Obviously, since clean hits weren't getting it done they had to up the ante in the second half.

I watched that game, most of it anyway. What are you talking about?

The brawl was embarrassing, particularly kicking out #66, who was actually trying to break it up. But Butler started the whole thing.

Of course you also thought that the KSU game last year was fairly officiated.

I remember Butler running his mouth down here last year. It was part of the reason ISU lost that one. He's got an attitude that ISU fans defend as tough while others might call it thuggish. But clearly, this is what started the brawl in an already intense moment of the game. Why he wasn't penalized is beyond me. Lost in the mayhem evidently.

Again, Baylor started this by taking a cheap shot at Montgomery out of bounds and then taunting the sideline. Butler responded with a hard pancake block; defender locked his legs when he had him down so that's when Butler put his knee on him. If you cannot see this, I don't know what else to tell you.

Yes. Corrupt officiating had nothing to do with the outcome. Only Butler...

The brawl happened after that play, not during it. The Baylor player was penalized.
That's what escalated to the brawl. If they don't take that cheap shot, brawl does not happen. Simple as that. They knew what they were doing, and to a certain extent it worked. Luckily we had a sizable lead at that point.

You know in the middle of chaos, it's hard to sort stuff out. Personally, I would have thought they'd have gone to video, but evidently didn't. What was corrupt about the officials, I don't understand your point.

Obviously never played football. Or any organized sport for that matter. I suppose in baseball, the guy hit a home run the play before, so the next guy taking one to the ear had nothing to do with the previous batter. Or, the guy is in the penalty box, so the fight at the next drop of the puck has nothing to do with the previous penalty. Or the guy shot two free throws, so the hard foul at the basket next time down the court had nothing to do with the previous trip down the court. Good for you getting the smack talk going now, because you know there isn't going to be any after our game with you this year.

Be honest. Have you gone back and watched the close up of Butlers legs? At the game, I originally thought it was started by Butler, too. But the replay clearly shows a different story.

You can only see what you are capable of seeing. This is a phrase used by an instructor who teaches cutting edge techniques in the sport that he is involved in. He can analyze a video and see critical items that the average person simply can't see. He has to keep reminding himself to be patient with those who struggle with failure to see the minor details that greatly impact outcomes. The limitations are usually not related to one's intelligence level. More often the lack of understanding comes from issues such as making snap decisions or not being able to get past personal biases that hinder one seeing what they need to see.
