Then you tell us why Iowa is consistently ranked higher in academics and has a much larger endowment.
Because rich suburban Chicago kids that can't get into NW, Notre Dame, Illinois, come to Iowa and become lawyers?

Maybe someday isu will be bigger than Iowa in something other than enrollment. You can always dream.

Dreams and selective time frames are all isu has.

Other than enrollment? LoL That's what determines size. I know you guys aren't smart but c'mon.

Little brother Iowa can't face the fact they are in Iowa states shadow. Just eats at their fans.

BTW How are all those partial qualifiers treating you? Big 10...the only conference that allows unlimited partial qualifiers. Academics... yeah? Just like North Carolina academics.

You really do make me laugh little brother. I'm hoping all those enrollment incentives you have been giving kids can at least get you close to big brother ISU.

isu fans sure do love meaningless measurements. If it isn't SOS it is enrollment. I guess when that is the only propoganda they have they cherish it.

Too funny.

Well, the facts do support it... you know what a fact is right?

BTW we also cherish regularly beating the Oklahoma of the big 10. My goodness, that one will never get old. Broke out laughing in the middle of that sentence.

Yep the facts support that enrollment and SOS are meaningless figures. SOS only matters for the top 8-10 teams in the CFP rankings. When isu gets to that level then you can worry about your awesome SOS. Until then all isu's SOS shows is just how bad you are and how difficult isu has with winning games.

Does an incrementally larger enrollment get isu anything other than a meaningless stat? I would love to know.

How could you say SOS is a meaningless figure? Your SOS plays a factor in how many wins you have per season. Even the dumbest Hawk fans would say Iowa wouldn't have gone undefeated with ISU's schedule last year because they had a tougher SOS. I know reading is hard for you but cmon man

On the bright side, now that you're little brother to ISU, you just have to look around at the f'ing joke of an athletic conference that you play in for your new little bro.

Some day the Big 12 may have enough clout to pull teams from other P5 leagues.

Until then they are pathetic.

What's the greatest accomplishment that Rutgers, Maryland, and Nebraska have added to the Big 10?
Honestly, Maryland reaching one Sweet 16?
Nebraska's attendance streak will stop, that's how much they love the B1G. Well, at least the B1G channel can show old Big 8 and Big 12 games on the flashback days.

So when will the Big 12 have enough clout to pull a team from another P5? Nebraska not being able to have success in the Big Ten shows why isu would NEVER be added. What sport would you be a title contender club baseball?

Nebraska's record since joining Big Ten is a little evidence it is tougher than their prior home. If Nebraska fans miss the Big 12 which I don't believe they do, it is because they won more in the Big 12. Again, you all want to downplay Nebraska as some weak opponent now that in Big Ten but when they were in the Big 12 they were the mighty Cornhuskers. The Rutgers and Maryland deals need time to work out as the increased money comes in. Northwestern used to be a complete laughing stock with everyone marking that game down as a win prior to season, but decent coaching, recruiting and $$$$ turned them into a decent team. Rutgers just needs to get their Administration in order as it has been a total failure much as Baylor's has been as we now have seen.

They were added for money and the future, just as the Big 12 is about to do. No team the Big 12 will now add will add anything other than money just like Rutgers and Maryland.

Nebraska went from the Big 12 North to the Big 10 West. They'd really struggle in the Big 12 now

Nebraska had started coming apart while in the big xii. They knew it was now or never for a move. They were losing more games in a season than they typically used to in 3-4. They were struggling to make the adjustment from a triple option to the spreads that the big xii went to. They were getting their rears handed to them in the conference.

One big bone of contention with the big xii was the elimination of partial qualifiers, they helped make nebby what they were. The move to the big ten allows them to reenter that recruiting area.

Not sure the B1G is keen on partial qualifiers either, but otherwise your post is spot on. They were getting hammered the last couple of years of XII membership.
