Why the inconsistencies from game to game...

I can accept road losses at Baylor and OU...both games played to the wire. But how can anyone explain the total dominence by piss poor WV and Texas Tech teams while at the same time looking like conference champs against OSU and Texas.

Its easy to explain.....I have said it before and I will say it again....This Team Plays Up to or Down to the LEVEL OF ITS COMPETITION....Hence they played UP to OU's level yesterday and DOWN to West Va & Texas Tech's Level and LOST both games.....

I watched the Okie State Cowboys dismantle Tx Tech last night ...When I turned the game off it was Okie State 23 & Tx Tech 0.....THATS NOT PLAYING DOWN TO THE LEVEL OF YOUR COMPETITION....IMHO!

We have a bad OL and haven't had play calling adjust to that weakness. No identity will lead to inconsistency

I think it's a combination of things. Loss of confidence. Trying to do too much. Relying on our base packages too much in the first half. Learning to play with a big target on their backs.

Oline and special teams have hurt us all year. How many times have we not been able to get 1-2 yards on 3rd/4th down? Hall has to create his runs - very few times is there open holes to run. Our punting is bad - even on good punts, it's only 38 yards. Too many times the field gets totally flipped.
