On the extra point JGJ didn't even move and the defender got into the backfield and almost blocked the extra point. Absolutely no effort to block at all.
Maybe JGJ had that hot mouth feeling and wasn't moving to avoid barfing again.

He did, but not in tone. Purdy made a good play, but he clearly missed something and CMC was pointing out what happened. One of those, "hey, listen, there was this huge thing you missed, but keep at it you're doing great out there" type of deals.
The play was 3rd and 4, and at 2:04:40 of the replay.

Purdy seemed late and didn’t lead enough with the throw, but honestly it was a call with a low chance of working. Ok St clearly was anticipating it, as all of the options were well covered, and that personnel hasn’t proven to make great one-on-one plays. I think we had Eaton as the one going downfield, and defenses are comfortable knowing the CB doesn’t need help there. Purdy may have had better luck running for it, which is saying something given we had linemen pulling to each side to set up screens (the RB in the opposite flat of Jones was also well covered).

Yeah, clearly it was Good-Jones not giving effort. I love that Coach is that in tune to catch it right away. Those are the "margins" he speaks of

I seem to recall at least a couple times on PAT's where guys almost blocked the kick. That may have had something to do with why Campbell went for two late in the game.

looks like the linemen were releasing for screen to Croney as well?

Agree, it was Good-Jones (LG), looks like he just fell forward with little effort, and two guys got past him.

(Go to about 1:08:25)

--> I hadn't noticed what happened live, I only saw the a**-chewing by Campbell.

That throw right before that play, though.
