A couple of inches are probably likely but I don't know that I would get too crazy with the one this weekend. Next weeks will probably be a lot like yesterday/last night. Quad Cities also mentioned that it could be colder than the next couple of days and possibly break records.

So what day is the one next week?

A popular blogger said this of that snow storm this weekend: "The EURO is just off the charts with snowfall from this system. It's so extreme I can't even put it up to avoid a social media melt down."

Here is a tip. Just put the target over SE Iowa. Freaking brutal. So much for 37 and rain. Just going to be another 5-8" snow. Have already damn near doubled our Yearly totals.

Ended up with another 6.5" near as I could measure. Parts of the hills in the yard are easily 2-3' deep. We've gotten nearly an average year's worth of snow in the last 12 days. About 22". I can now sled off the deck which is 4-5' above the ground level.

Let's further derail this thread....do you say "snowblower" or "snowthrower" or "plow" (or something else) for your machine that easily clears a lot of snow off of your driveway?
