8 pages and nobody has brought up the worst name trend in Iowa??

Kinnick.

My son has not one but two boys in his class named Kinnick. My wifes cousin named his kid Kinnick and my brother in law was going to name his kid Kinnick until they found out they are having a girl.

Seriously, how would you like to be named after a football stadium? I just want to slap the **** out of every parent with a child named Kinnick.

They aren't named after a stadium. The stadium, and the kids, are named after the same man. Derp.

What if I had a kid named Trice? It's actually kinda catchy

American Baby Names Are Somehow Getting Even Worse

other day in the gym I heard a dad yell for his two sons "Hemingway....Remington, get over here."

I love it - and it's 100% true. If you google message boards to help name your child (which will be mostly women), you'll see that those names are all 100% accurate. I've read a woman who was named Kelly and her husband was named Bryan come up with "Brylee" for their daughter - yeah, that kid's going to strip, because nobody is taking an adult Brylee seriously. Another woman named her daughter Jersey, her last name was Shore. This was AFTER the show came out.

My sister used to live in CR. There were brothers in the daycare her kids went to that were Ruckus and Danger (if I remember right). A relative of a relative named their girl Jericho after a football player. On the news around football season there was a story about the Kinnick naming trend, one couple had a Kinnick Trice.

When we were pregnant with our third, hubby was watching the Masters a month before baby was due. We never can come up with boy names, so we joked if Charl Schwartzel won that would be our boy name (first and middle name) Good thing baby was a girl. ;)

When I worked at a Mailboxes Etc a guy came in to get his resume printed out and when he handed it to me I saw in big letters across the top the name Richard ****. I was pretty proud of myself for not laughing out loud in front of him.

Can that really count, because he changed his name to make it weird.
