    Horrible loss. Really makes me wonder. But sometimes you just have a bad week in hoops. I hope to God we get it turned around quickly. There is too much individual talent on this team to suck that bad. I think we'll get it corrected.

    Pre-game, the place by the quick trip with pizza upstairs. Post-game, the place with the tacos across the parking lot and over the generic apartment building from the place by the quick trip. Now -- back at the hotel way to late.

    My inclination is to complain about all of the things that we did wrong. But you guys won because of what you did right. Had we played a perfect game, I still suspect you would've won by about 5. The atmosphere was electric. I wish this was a home-and-home. Good luck in the Big XII.

    FWIW he is 6'10. Not sure why he is listed at 6'11. Portis isn't a banger. He isn't a rebound machine, although he can block shots. The tough thing about stopping Portis is his accuracy from three ball land and mid range jumpers. "Under the radar" guys to watch that can make a big difference...

    Yeah we will have a DD. I would be looking at 2-3 beers over a couple of hours. I'm not 20 years old any more. I'd kill myself if I was getting hammered on Thursday afternoon. Haha

    Is that likely the closest place to the arena? Would you suggest driving and parking at the game or cabbing? It doesn't look like you guys have uber in Ames, unless my google searching ability is just crappy.
