Preston Spradlin of Morehead State appears to be the frontrunner at Southern Illinois after they get eliminated.
Little smoke around Devon Johnson (AHC at Texas A&M) but that seems to have cooled.

Only two Valley jobs left are Indiana State and, maybe, Drake. Indiana State pays nothing and it's going to be a total rebuild so I don't think that's a job Blount would be attracted to. Not sure what Drake will do if it's open.

Not financially. SLU coach made around 2.5 million and Schertz about 2 million less.
Schertz just signed a contract extension that would pay him 365k next year.
Travis Ford was making 2.3 million.
But if ISU has a nice run in the NIT, I am guessing this guy left some better job opportunities on the table.
That may only be part of his money based on the contract details
Agree. Seems like he’s around $1M if I’m reading things right. Huge discrepancies in the MVC apparently.
