I'd curve it so you do your highest estimates for Thurs afternoon to Saturday, bring it down for Wednesday and Sunday. Now I gotta break out Excel.
Will there be any place to buy a six pack? If so, I will likely buy several to take back home as live in a state where we have none in sight.
"average" is doing a lot of work in that post. Some might call it lazy but I prefer to call it efficient.

Wed. 900 (300 people each drinking 3 during CF/WW event).
Thurs. 3600 (600 before each drinking 3 and 600 after the game each drinking 3).
Fri. 3600 (600 throughout the day each drinking 3, 600 during WBB game each drinking 3).
Sat. 3600 (600 before each drinking 3 and 600 after the game each drinking 3).
This would be 11,700 cans.
Doesn't count retail sales.

do something like Djs (omaha bar) does for the CWS (shots per team). divide the state into quadrants and keep tally on how much each drinks during the week
I'd ask the bar (s) are you willing to be overflowing with cyclone fans? Because if you give the go ahead the word will spread and then ask what's your best day and promise them that back to back days matching it. Remember if YOU sell it We Will come.

Hate to be the Debbie downer but I don't think you can assume every Cyclone fan will drink Ames Lager. As much as I love it I know most of my friends that are Cyclones don't like anything but Busch Light and Coors Light.
Whatever the number ordered is just make it public and make it known that the bars were skeptical and think there's no way we could drink that many. That's how you sell every single one.
