Does anyone know the context of this? He's been getting a lot of DNPs so I'm wondering if there was an injury on the Jazz or something.

24 points - good work, Talen.
Yeah short handed

Meanwhile, the Jazz started featuring their younger players weeks ago and are jockeying for lottery position. Utah sat six of their top players.

The holdouts were Lauri Markkanen (shoulder), Jordan Clarkson (back), John Collins (back), Kris Dunn (foot), Walker Kessler (nose) and Collin Sexton (illness), who average a combined 81.2 points a game.

Massive playoff implication games for Hali and Niang tonight.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but...
- 76ers lose or Cleveland/Niang win, they clinch full playoff birth, not play in tournament
- 76ers lose and Pacers/Hali win they clinch full playoff birth

basically 4, 5, 6 and 7 play each other tonight only 2 games separating all 4 and only 2 games left including tonight

A 4 vs 5 matchup of Niang vs Hali is looking possible where a few weeks ago it seemed like they might have been 3 vs 6 against each other. As long as neither slips to 7 the regular season was a win imho.

Niang just shut down insane quick spaz player TJ McConnell to close the quarter and stomped off the floor screaming with teammates. Actually really impressive to keep this guy in front of him, he came off the bench and blew by the cavs for 6 consecutive points just minutes earlier.

It's highly likely, perhaps certain, that Indy has the best true point guard and the best backup point guard in the NBA.

I'm not sure how McConnell would do as a starter but if he plays like this much longer some teams may want to try it.

Niang off to a rough start but Cleveland won both games, 1/11 fg and 0/8 from the 3 with 5 points in 37 minutes.
