Texas is a pretty talented team but that coach is known for being a complete ass hole. He’s easily the biggest **** head coach in softball.

Worked in Power 5 college baseball for a number of seasons. This type of stuff happens on get-away day. That being said both teams know the stop time at the beginning of the game and umps should be able to detect and handle the situation.

My dad played, maybe two years, couldn’t tell ya the team name. But I did watch the games at Ellis when he was playing.

I don't like it here, but I admit when coaching soccer we will slow down play to burn clock when leading. You can take longer to throw in, longer to set up set pieces, longer to goal kick, substitute more frequently. However, some coaches use bush league tactics like faking injuries to burn the clock. In club ball and tournaments they generally have tight schedules at the fields so there is rarely an allowance for extra time.
