This is a good time to ask if our football team or our basketball team will have the better season. The football team will be significantly improved and the basketball team has several unknowns. Discuss with your reasons.

Whats the measuring stick here? 30 basketball games, 12 football games, so 1 football win is worth 2.5 wins in basketball. So 6 wins in football would be 15 wins in basketball. I think we will win more than 15 basketball games, and Im not sure we make 6 wins in football.

So I'll say basketball.

Definitely basketball with this metric.

However, I think fans will be more satisfied with the football season than basketball season - given the recent history of both programs. We will see some improvement in wins in football and will see a drop-off of wins in basketball. I think football is more likely to go to a bowl than basketball is to get to NCAA tournament.

I expect them to perform "similarly" this year, in that I think both teams will be near the "meets expectations" category. I'd say meets expectation would be football around 5 wins and basketball around 20. Basketball has the best chance of making a postseason of some sort (Not necessarily NCAA's).

Depends if we're using informed opinions or Rothstein who thinks we won't even be close to a winning record in Hilton which would be required to finish 10th. I think out performing Rothstein would be drastically easier than winning 4-7 football games to beat most of those expectations. Remember that almost all of Fred's teams were picked 8th out of 10.

Going off of win percentage or total number of wins? Because I'll take basketball to win at least 12.

Hmmm. I'll guess 5-7 in football and 17-13 in regular season basketball.

Based on recent results that would mean football had the "better year" based off of expectations but still a more successful basketball year.

I think 5 wins in Fb and NIT in basketball. Those are essentially a wash but I'll say basketball because I think there is slightly higher upside

I have similar expectations; if we are in the bubble talk at all come Selection Sunday that's a good season for hoops. If we won 5 football games that would be better in my eyes.
