I can understand ISU, Kst, KU, Mizzou going to the Big East..I just dont get Baylor. Geographically, they would just be out in the middle of nowhere.

This is a huge IF, but we all know the East Coast bias that is shown for Big East schools, especially when it comes to basketball. It seems like their games are always on ESPN. Does anyone know who the Big East has a TV contract with?

What five schools are leave the Big East if these five are joining? Rutgers and Syracuse have been thrown out - who else. I don't buy it, the Big East with 19 teams? This is a farse.

That would be one big conference, geographically. And basketball-y... Doesn't the big east already have 16 basketball teams? Adding 10 more would be insane!

pac 10: duh
big east: watch this - first 100 team conference; right here

LOL - Say the Big East part in Ricky Bobby's voice and it's hilarious.

Let's see...

ISU
KU
K-State
Mizzou
Baylor
Louisville
Cincinnati
West Virginia
UConn
South Florida
Memphis
Houston
SMU
Rice
UTEP

They're a school short. IF this were to happen (and I'm doubting it), the football would be meh, but it would be the premiere basketball conference in all the land, both on the men's and women's side.

Big 12 needs to steal the best schools from Big East and MWC and stick to the Big 12 (or 14 or 16 like everyone else)
