Assuming that your success rate for 2 pt conversions is above 50%, it’s the right call. If you get the first one then you can kick the extra point to go ahead with the next TD.

It’s how the Packers beat the Saints a couple weeks ago, so it can work. But if you don’t get that first 2…oof

They were trying to avoid OT
There’s some truth there but I think you are the team with all the momentum in K States scenario where just by getting to OT you probably make Ok State fold. Double digit lead in the 4th Qtr, at home and you have dominated all night? I think the Pokes would fold somehow being in OT at this point.

It’s all dependent on your success rate of a 2 pt conversion. But I guess my reaction then is that if your success rate is above 50%, why ever kick an extra point? If you aren’t above 50%, then it doesn’t make sense to do it in that situation either.

OSU got the defense to jump into the neutral zone but they let him get back. That's one thing the ISU OL has been good at this year. Go ahead and stand up and force the ref to blow the whistle.

Tried to tell people that OSU is not that bad. They had one terrible week. Beat ASU on the road pretty easily, who had USC in a battle.

People need to pay attention beyond the last week, and stop listening to the idiot sports media in the state.

Oklahoma State would be favored by double digits over Michigan State.

The last statement could be true without the first being true.

Man line up and run the ball Gundy instead of the cute sneak by a non QB or best RB.

Edit: guy didn’t even pick a gap, he ran right into the nose tackle

I get it, they just go for it every time this game? If so that makes sense.

The ESPN guy seemed to be explaining it on the basis of the score, which I didn’t get.

I get why the call stood, but the endzone replay I thought showed he clearly had the ball past the end of the orange paint which ends at the 39

Agreed, but there seemed to be a ton of Oklahoma State is terrible talk from Iowa sports media, and not much re: MSU despite them being a complete **** show.

I think it’s about expectations. MSU has been a dumpster fire for a few years now. Gundy has been pretty consistent and this season seems to be a deviation from that. I think that’s why they’re taking about OSU more.
