And with #3 going down, assuming seeds hold from here on out (and obviously they won't) if Weatherspoon wins tonight but loses in the quarters he'll have #3 Blaise Butler in the R12. That's rough. If he loses tonight he'd have to go through the winner of #8 Epperly and #10 Ottinger in the 3rd round of consolations but wouldn't have any other seeded guys in that quarter of the bracket.

I guess he ought to just keep on winning, then. Its the easiest route at this point. :spinny:

Looks like Stoll of Iowa is out as well. And Dejournette got upset too. That whole quarter of the bracket is torn up. Walz should ...waltz... to the semis against Snyder.

Go big or go home. He has #15 next round then #7 in the quarters. He's capable if he wrestles tonight and tommorow morning like he wrestled this afternoon.

Got caught up talking to my buddy during the basketball game and taking care of my kids. Totally spaced and didn't watch Lelund, Dane, and Downey. So pumped for Lelund and Pat!!!!!

On the consolation side at 125, the way is totally clear for Dylan Peters from UNI to AA unless Nashson Garrett gets upset tonight. If he wins tonight he drops in to a quarter of the consolation bracket with nobody higher ranked than #12 Petrov of Bucknell before the AA rounds. And if he loses he drops in to a quarter of the consolation with nobody higher ranked that #16 seed Oliver of Indiana.

If I'm Schwab I'm secretly hoping Peters loses tonight, he could score a bunch of points on the backside in that quarter of the consolation bracket. And he isn't beating Garrett in the quarters if he wins.

Clones looked good. On to session 2, after a couple beers though

How much are the beers? I thought I would spend $300/day on beers.

Good round for the Cyclones. Hope they keep it going.
