Seeds 2, 3, 4, 8, and 13 all went down first round in that bracket. Cripes.
And with #3 going down, assuming seeds hold from here on out (and obviously they won't) if Weatherspoon wins tonight but loses in the quarters he'll have #3 Blaise Butler in the R12. That's rough. If he loses tonight he'd have to go through the winner of #8 Epperly and #10 Ottinger in the 3rd round of consolations but wouldn't have any other seeded guys in that quarter of the bracket.
I guess he ought to just keep on winning, then. Its the easiest route at this point. :spinny:
