More like they had their "Huskies in a row!"“Ducks in a row” or “promised interested parties quick resolution and had to deliver”?

Couldn’t risk taking too long with the roster opening up to the portal for the next 30 days. That’s priority #1…lock down the roster. Priority #2 is hire some top tier recruiters. Also I thought a search would take at least 2 weeks. So I’m an idiot there. Bama had their ducks in a row moreso than I thought
You’re right. I should have taken that into considerationCouldn’t risk taking too long with the roster opening up to the portal for the next 30 days. That’s priority #1…lock down the roster. Priority #2 is hire some top tier recruiters.
Well playedMore like they had their "Huskies in a row!"
ESPN reporting Deboer is "negotiating" with Alabama.
Wow
Same info now via McMurphy
This likely doesn't leak out unless it's basically a done deal
I think this is a good hire, obviously, since that was my first post when the news broke. My goodness that's a tough job to take though.Kalen Deboer would be my first call. Dabo would be my last.
Wellll, Iowa still hasn't hired a offensive coordinator.Nah, they got real quick no’s and finally got there yes. With the season done things move much faster.

Oh, I can read just fine, you have stated that players would like to play close to an NFL city, so their chances of playing at the next level increased. That NFL teams in the North are worried about drafting players that play in the Southern part of the country, and that Alabama is nothing its only because of Saban and Bryant that have had any success, disregarding the amount of success that others have had their including winning national championships. At this point I'm seriously questioning whether you can even read. I never stated or even insinuated I thought that Bama would become "just another program".
What I did say, and will continue to say, is that I think...all things being equal, there are better jobs to have for all of the reasons I listed. I did say that, by far, the biggest reason for Bama's successes have been Bryant and Saban rather than the school/program itself. I'm not sure why it's so hard for you to wrap your head around that.
Grubb.
Nope, some posters on here threw that out but it’s the same ones who think CMC is going to Washington lolWasn't there a report he's going to follow to Tuscaloosa?
Or am I imagining something?

No like or dislike for DeBoer and I don't know how high he ranked or thought about by his peers but seems like an underwhelming hire.
Going from a resume like Nick Saban to Deboer?

Not so hot take: I bet Saban replaces Lee Corso on College Game Day.
