When it's all said and done there will be an empty ball bag left on their bench because they won't have any left to fill it.

We still need to penetrative but will have to make open jump shots to win.

Ball movement to get them out of position and good looks hopefully comes to fruition.

SDSU looked like they were overplaying the lanes Thursday and ISU didn't seem to be able to get the ball moving the same way.

Then on D, obviously hopefully ISU avoids foul trouble. They got a little leaky Thursday (SDSU also seemed really good at cutting to the right spots) so hopefully that's synched up too.

A statistical thing to watch is 3-pt shooting. Wazzu doesn't take or make many as a team, but the also don't give up many makes or attempts.

Wazzu has only given up more than 7 made 3s in 3 games this year - and all of them before mid-January. ISU has made > 7 in 13 games, and averaged 10 makes the last 3 games.

On the other hand, ISU forces teams to score most of their points from the 3-pt line - and over the last dozen games has held teams to a really low percentage from deep (although SDSU was 10-24)

They played mostly man in the Drake game, but on the season Wazzu has played a bunch of a funky match-up zone that runs people off the 3-pt line. When teams have ran a zone against us it has at times been effective at forcing us into a bunch of lower-percentage mid-range shots. Getting to the mid-range, and then kicking out to open shooters will be a key. And ball movement, as always, when we are moving the ball with quick passes we're almost unstoppable.
