Picked up a 6 pack of the Schlafly Pumpkin Ale....WOW. You guys weren't kidding. This stuff is amazing. Probably No. 1 on my rankings right now.

I've tried Schlafly and O'Fallon so far this year. They're certainly different beers, but if I had to choose, I think I'd go with O'Fallon.

Wantin to pick up some pumpkin beer tonight but don't know what to get.

I usually just drink Busch Light as I'm not a fan of heavy or dark beers. What would one suggest?

Chris--after all of your guzzling, could you update us on your favorite pumpkin varieties? I kind of like Shock top

Shock top is drinkable but it's far from the best or something I would buy given other options. I would like an update also on the rankings.

Had a Jack-O Shandy from Traveler last night. Really thought it was good. Probably more pumpkin flavor than any other I've tried and a nice hint of lemon in the background.

New Holland's Ichabod is selling pretty well. I don't know if that is in bottles in Iowa or not.

If I'm able to find some Steven's Point Whole Hog Pumpkin, I'll save a couple for you. It's on par.

Just cracked one of these open tonight. I think this just took my top spot over Schlafly, it's amazing. Although, more expensive and harder to find.

Just tried Schlafly's because of this thread and I know what I'm drinking while I tailgate this weekend. Amazing and 8% alcohol.

I'd had my pumpkin beer tour, but I saw this and it looked like a good choice to throw in there, mainly because Rogue makes cool bottles. Rogue Pumpkin Patch Ale. Mild but a decent flavor. I'd say around ♦♦♦-♦♦♦½. Worth trying, but maybe not sure about the price.
