Absolutely a ridiculous self serving assumption. There just has to be a ludicrous positive spin put on anything ISU is involved in no matter how dire the circumstances. It might be possible ISU was still in the mix. If we were, we probably were going to get him into rehab and give him a second chance, etc.
It's been reported by multiple people we pulled his offer, as did Nebraska and Illinois per other reports.

I am too. I won't believe it until I see it. I went over to their boards and they act like what Quran did wasn't that big of a deal and hope to still get him

With the rape at his former college, Riley needed to distance himself far away from this kid.

You're right I see most of them changed their tune. You still get a few knuckle heads like this:

"I read a good portion of it, and still don't think it proves anything illegal on his part. Police had access to two separate videos of the sexual encounter, and deemed that it was likely consensual sex"

If I understand the report, he went in and had a threesome with the girl and another dude. Then he left. What happened in that room after he left can't really be his fault unless he was watching or spreading the word.

I'm good with pulling the offer, but more for PR reasons. Unless that threesome wasn't consensual, he did nothing illegal.

I was going to be kind of mad that I had to cheer for this kid before all the Minnesota stuff came out (had he chosen us). Seems like he cares way more about his fame than actually playing football.

There are more than a few of us (thank god) on this board who see this as more right vs. wrong - not illegal. I won't cast stones about a completely consensual 3-way but nobody in that mess stopped to consider this poor defenseless young lady. Not a single one of them put her before themselves. Whether QH knew what was going to happen, or heard what was happening - he did nothing but serve himself.

I like to think CMC can build our program with much higher character kids than that.

I'm thinking he going to be on a pretty short leash, and I'm glad Indiana has to baby sit him and not us.

They hired one of Wilsons assistants I beleive. I think it's why Harris stayed.

They promoted the Defensive Coordinator. He had only been at IU for one year. From what I read, he was not really a Wilson guy and he was a popular choice of the current players. No head coach experience from what I know. Reminded me of the Wayne Morgan hire.

Reading the University's report made me sick. There is no doubt in my mind that there is only one true victim from this incident. That being said, I may have had some compassion for Hafiz and the situation he was put into by his escort had he shown any remorse at all since the incident occurred. If you followed his twitter at all, it is pretty obvious he had little or no compassion for the girl that was victimized. It is unbelievable that none of the football players were charged. It is also concerning to me that no one is taking issue with the coaches and adults associated with the football program at Minnesota. While it is not possible for them to supervise everything, it is possible for them to set the standards for character. Judging by the actions of that night and by the recent boycott, it is pretty clear that those standards are not where they need to be.

I was really hoping Hafiz would be a playmaker for us, but I am glad CMC pulled his offer. He is not the type of kid I want representing the school that I love.

I was also reported that after he had a threesome with the girl, he was standing in the doorway laughing and cheering for a time while the non-consentual part was going on.
