My one suggestion, unless it's impossible to do, would be to make it so it's not solely based on number of ghosts, but maybe something like the number of ghosts just increases the likelihood of you winning. Kind of like the NBA lottery type of thing. Don't know if there's an Internet program that could do that for you though, where it would randomize who won, but allow you to weigh likelihood of winning to a certain person. So like, if someone with 6 ghosts fights someone with 1, they'd have a 6 to 1 chance of winning, but technically could still lose.

I really like this idea.

Rule loopholes I can't think of that many loopholes but I'll put my suggestion here. At the beginning I was defending because I didn't have any ghosts and the bonus for defending was huge. Maybe next time change it up so you get a defensive bonus if your partner is alive, otherwise the bonus is if you attack. That may cause people to attack more
Enough information to guesstimate other players number of ghosts? I thought there was enough

The only thing I would like to see as far as the trivia stuff goes is if we could just pm you the answer. If you get it right you get a ghost, not just the first person. That would make it tougher to actually try to nail down someone's count.

Probably a good idea, although it seems like people really didn't have a clue in regards to some of our ghost collections. When I was liberated, I went to the person I thought had the least ghosts (based on the ghosts I knew they had won + trivia wins + estimate of original attachments). Sorry, Pants - I'm guilty of overestimating your count also.

Still want to know who my lone ghostie was. You were appreciated, even though together we were basically useless.
