Or why not ISU...well, due to the Iowa veto, that was never going to happen. As for OU...they are tied to OSU. I'd believe the OU and OSU to the SEC before any rumor of TX and OU. As for TX, no way they are going to a conference where they wouldn't be the top dog. Now, if a rumor comes out that the first combo to jump to the SEC gets it between TX and TTech or OK and OSU...that has more merit.
Agreed. Or ISU to begin with.

Really don’t see why either would leave the conference where you are top dog, and now with the potential expanded playoff almost a guaranteed spot in the playoff every year. The money difference isn’t that much. Though if realignment does happen again, ISU is in a 100000x better position than last time.

Why would they want to be also-rans? Texas isn't going to be able to able to bully their way through that league. I see no benefit to them. Oklahoma won't be forced to drag along Okie Lite? Also: Texas A&M isn't going to be happy about it.
