He may wind up a good player, but you see many, many college freshman regress their sophomore years. Teams figure out how to guard you. This is especially the case with a guy like Bohannon who is limited athletically. Who knows, but between teams having a year to look at film on him, and losing Jok, I'll be interested to see what he is next year.

Agreed with the bold.

Well the leading shot taker this year is a senior so the shots will be there. Not often you see a freshman PG shooting over 40% from 3 with the number of 3's Bohannon has attempted.

38% from the floor and second most shots on the team. Yikes!

I don't typically watch Iowa basketball, but they do have bigs that move well.

Are they always that careless with the basketball? Ball was bouncing between them and South Dakota like a Plinko wall.

I was pretty pissed off in the first half with how sloppy they were. No they aren't normally that bad with TO. They kept them in the game with all those TO.

Doesnt seem that unrealistic. It is probably the smartest thing Miller has tweeted in months.

I would say the PPG in that tweet are probably a stretch. More like 14-15 PPG, IMO.

I agree. 14/15 PPG and 8 RPG seems about right for Cook.

Jordan will be at 10 PPG again

Pemsl will be at 10+ PPG as well

Baer/Moss one of them will also average 10PPG with the other about 8 PPG

The future is super bright for this team!

I've got a bold prediction. Over the course of the Bohannon/Cook Class Iowa will have a winning record vs ISU but ISU will make more actual tournaments.

I'll take that, seeing as they are already down 1 in the NCAA appearances. It isn't like Iowa can keep ISU out of the NCAA, that is totally out of Iowa control. I'll take 3 NCAA tournament every 4 years, that is pretty good.

Considering 202 of his 289 shots this year were from behind the ark, That's not too shabby for a freshmen.

Easy money, I thought they would win by more but a win is a win.

You gonna bet Iowa or TCU? I have only seen parts of a few TCU games, but wasn't impressed. Now I didn't catch the Kansas win so I'm sure I would have been impressed with that game, but they followed it up with a turd vs ISU that I watched some of.

That may be true. But I also don't see any of those guys doing anything about the 78 ppg they gave up.

What is so funny about saying that LSU is a better job than ISU? Louisiana puts a lot of local players into the NBA and they are the only Power 5 school in the state. If you can recruit Louisiana and keep those players home, you could build a powerhouse just like Saban did with the football program.

Louisiana has 11 NBA players and Iowa has 2.
