Now you're starting to sound like an airline pilot when you're stuck at the gate waiting to push back. "Uhhhh, ladies and gentlemen, uhhhh, this is the captain speaking. Uhhhh, we've got a trouble light on the, uhhhh, number 1 engine. Uhhh, this is likely only a malfunction of the light itself, but, uhhhh, we can't legally take off until, uhhhh, we get maintenance out to take a look at it. Uhhhh, our best estimate is that maintenance will be here in, uhhhhh, just a few minutes once they get off of break."

2 hours later, they replace the light bulb and you miss your connecting flight, leaving you stuck in Dallas overnight.
