Is this not hilarious? Does UT think they can compete in the SEC?

Nebraska anyone?

Texas had a 4OT loss to Oklahoma and a three point loss to Iowa State last year. If either one of those had gone the other way they would have been in the Big 12 championship game. Now look at them.

No idea if sark will right the ship but come on give him some time. We fired Rhoads after 3 wins to get 3 wins from Campbell year 1 were you saying the same stuff?

Texas doesn't hire coaches to rebuild.
That wasn't really an option for ISU at the time.
Really head scratching hire at the time... looks even better now.

It made no sense to fire Herman. His was a good, tough club at year's end. They folded last night. It was fun to watch unfold.

Herman was/is a bad guy. You can be a bad guy, but you better win, a lot.

he didn’t win a lot at UT, and he got eaten up by the machine that runs the AD in Austin.

paying him 30 million bucks to go away, just to end up having to hire Steve Sarkesian was not what they set out to do.

problem is, ut’s AD is such a toxic dump of a place, the coaches they thought they would have their choice of wanted no part of it.
