He's got to change his shot mechanics and get a higher release, but I agree. Reminds me a lot of Reggie.

Why change it? It goes in and does not get blocked. Just because it looks a little funny does not mean he does not have a great stroke.

It just limits what kind of shots he can take. It works great for a spot up three but not for a stap back jumper or a catch and shoot off a screen.

I used to work for Halliburton... So I'm having a lot of fun calling Haliburton "Big Red!"

Me, too! Although it was through an acquisition of Brown & Root. Every soccer team I've been on in my entire life was in last place when I joined and first place when I left (Iowa State included). Not being the most physically gifted player, what I'd like to think I brought to the table was smarts and chemistry. So, I know Halliburton's value.

The chemistry is always a major player...all the skills in the world don't matter squat if you can't "fit" in.

Good point - the floater became a big part of Monte's repertoire by the end of his time at ISU.
