Although, I think this was on Welch Ave. We were partying on the end of Welch and I took a pic as I walked by.
I freaking miss being a college student during VEISHEA. The spring of 06 and 07 were maybe the best VEISHEA's of my college life. Weather was sunny all week with temps in the 70's and 80's. (and this was before concert wristband era)

I dont think that one was ours. Ours was much more crudely made.
But yeah it wouldve been 06 and 07 as well. Those were great years, especially 06, with the 3 stages all set up centered around central campus.
We did get on tv though in 06. Cop car comes by at around 1 in the afternoon (we'd been drinking since around 8) and we think 'damn, this early?'. Out gets the cop.. and a reporter from WOI. Every single person interviewed (except for one guy who was so drunk they didnt put him on tv) was under 21.
He must be new...

Yeah that was an awesome set up. Too bad they had to change such a great atmosphere.
Had a bonfire in a parking lot last night with some dudes doing a keg race. Bars were nice and full last night too!
This picture is floating around today of this bus driver who stopped, got out, puked, and started driving again! What a champ!

I listened to the police scanner for like 1 minute this morning and that's what they were talking about.
Hey alarson, you think I could steal that idea next year when I will be living across the street in that house that's in between those two apartments?

i remember veishea 2004 when just bought a new surround sound system but forgot to plug it into the surge protector. it was the night of the riot and (coincidentally) there was a power surge and it fried the whole system. man i was ******. that night i stopped counting after 14 shots of raspberry smirnoff. yes, kids, that's what we drank back then.
