It’s amazing how little the Iowa women’s team is in my social media feeds right now. It went from non-stop 24/7 discussion to silent within about 15 minutes after the game was over.
And she actually signalled her team not to shoot the ball in the dying seconds and let the clock expire.
Where’s the racism? I guess if you want to project, but not everything is racism.
If you don't think that is racism, you probably need to take a look at yourself.
Obviously Iowa is not alone in having some racist fans. We have them as well. But that doesn't mean it shouldn't be called out.
Saying that she and her players "sound uneducated" is a classic racist dogwhistle.
