As this is new to all of us, some general questions/thoughts…to encourage giving or pushing folks/businesses to give are there “prizes”, wrestling apparel, giveaways/tickets for donors?
It’s a positive thread. Why do you post this?
My understanding is that there will be “merch” and it’s being worked on as we speak.
But also understand that this thing is starting from ground zero with nothing in the till, so please Cyclone wrestling supporters show out for the Cardinal and Gold Collective and start adding to the account because THIS is the best thing you can do to help the team.
I have been against NIL since the beginning as not having sympathy after paying 21 years of my out of state tuition loans. However, I have come around. Great to see ISU wrestling coming back around! Donated $100. Now, going to see about getting an ISU wrestling shirt to wear it proudly around Houston.
I would hope guys like David Carr that are quite marketable on their own do so and leave the collective for the others as well as kind of a minimum guarantee for new recruits.
I would be proud to donate to the Cardinal and Gold Collective with one caveat.
