Here is what I don't get about Ramirez, if he agreed to a trade he has a clause in his contract that makes the 2012 season garunteed at $16. Cubs can decline that option (which they will) and buy him out. There is no way anyone is paying him the $14 mil a year he made this year. Like I said, not against bringing him back but I would hope it would only be for about $10 mil a year for no more than 2 or 3 years because he's just not the player that can carry a team offensively to deserve any bigger of a contract than that.
Possibly could be traded since he did lighten up on the no trade clause...ONLY if the Cubs rebuild.......But then again we all dont really know, only Hendry (ugh) knows... Cubs do have players to play third
