Starting 5 and rotation

How do you envision how the rotation works this year? I think the biggest question is at SG with Heise and Nelson. My guess:
PG - Lipsey
SG - Nelson
SF - Milan
PF - Jefferson
C - Buchanon

Plenty of minutes off the bench
Heise
Batemon
Toure
Mulder

I'm bullish on the future of Pleta, but I think his minutes are limited this year. I don't see us going past 9 deep much.

Half the playoff field would automatically be SEC/Big10

Urban Coyotes

I live in Urbandale and my yard backs up to a green space/wooded area near 80-35. There have been coyotes reported in the area, but they haven't been much of an issue.

Recently, I've spotted a few crossing my yard during the daytime, which is a bit unusual. In the past, I would only see them early in the morning. Should that be a cause for concern? I don't have pets, but I do have young children who play in the back yard.

Tailgating location

Daughter going to be at Iowa State this year and we are coming for ISU-Iowa weekend. Bought tix, but need reliable, close, fun place to tailgate that I can purchase. StubHub didn’t have much, not specific spots. It was kind of confusing. Any ideas? I’m glad to pay good money and go reasonably early. Just want a guaranteed spot fairly close, ideally with access to portapotties.

Dan Winters leaving WHO

Posted on his LinkedIn, doesn't appear to be going to another TV station but something else entirely.

Chicago trip ideas

Wife and I planning a trip to Chicago Sept 11-14. Plane to arrive by mid-day on the 11th. Going to Cubs game on the 12th during the day, but everything else is open at this point. Looking for some recommendations for where to stay, cool stuff to check out, and places to eat. Looking mostly downtown with an easy way to get to Wrigley for the game. If there is a place to the watch the ISU game on Saturday, that would be a plus (if I can convince wife to watch it).

CFTV: Orange and Ike Striving for Consistency and Competition inside the LB Room

On Thursday’s CF Daily, Jake Brend has a report from a fall camp availability with Eli Rasheed and Colby Kratch. Rasheed talks about what’s needed need from his group to get pressure on the quarterback. We hear from Yale transfer Tamatoa McDonough for the first time. Linebackers coach Colby Kratch discusses his process on determining playing time and the competition within that room.

Maybe Tom Brady should STFU

For some reason Tom Brady decided to get all bent about Scott Scheiffler(?) Comments about he'd rather be a good dad than golfer.

Different strokes for different folks he could have just ignored it, not like Scott went after him with those comments. I'm guessing Tom was missing the lime light and needed a little attention.

Both made a lot of money for playing a game. Neither one cured cancer or anything really important. Well end of my rant.
