What sticks with me in this one are two plays down the stretch. SC missing an unbelievably wide open three and Brackins deciding to take a poor one a couple possessions later. In both cases we miss, they get the rebound and are at the line shooting free throws again.

In other news, I smashed my first beer can on my head after DG missed the 3. I'm pretty sure I won't be doing that again, as I have a spliting headache right now.

Cant wait till this dreadful season is over!!!!!! Who actually thought with 5 min left we would win? The guys played hard, a few bad calls and another player having a career game against us. With all that, FT's would have won it for us.

Our 5th conference loss this season by 5 points or less..7 overall for the season. Also our 10th single digit loss of the season (8 in conference play).

ugh? out coached in those situations usually

I will give credit, we did play 40 minutes today.

What? Did you watch the first 8minutes of the game when Colorado reeled off 23 points on 9-11 shooting, where every single shot was wide open, and we were beat down the court repeatedly for easy buckets?

In most of our recent games, those have been much better. Our 3-pt shooting collapsed with that German dude.

They weren't better today and were a clear difference. We can also "blame" Lucca for the 3pt issues, but FTs have been bad most of the year. 3 pointers are a risk-reward. FTs are free points.

Either way, we need to hit more shots.

End of the first half was HUGE! Brackins throws a lob and we get bailed out with a foul but only make 1 free throw, then somehow give up an uncontested 3? Not to mention our effort on D the first 8 minutes, and free throws...yet another winnable game goes to waste...

We agree. But today was abnormal for our recent FT shooting, although we found a way not to make them.

Look over the last few games. Look at who was taking the free throws. Look at the percentage made. You'll see a direct correlation.
