We offered Alex Dorr for a preferred walk-on spot, after his less than stellar performance against Bishop Heelan in the 3A title game last year....
You have to be from SE Polk, Know nothing about Basketball. Ingle is a good player don't get me wrong But I didnt see anything from him which was outstanding! I know Dorr and that championship game last year was one of his worst I agree, playing with an ankle the size of a grapefruit, I'll take Dorr over Ingle as a walkon anytime. Have you seen Dorr lately - another year in weight room I feel he will compete with what we have coming in.

I don't claim to be a judge of BBall talent. I've seen 3 HS games total this year, and just as many Clone games.
I did however text a couple HS bball coaches who had their teams at the state tourney and they said in ISU's current position, Ingle could contribute.
I'm not from SEP and have never met Ingle. In fact I was just telling my wife last night by all accounts I've heard he's a nice kid, but I really don't like him because he's so good, on the FB field as well.

These coaches are obviously not a good judge of D1 talent either. I can't believe you are still trying to convince people this kid has the talent to be D1. I mean you have to be kidding me. The kid had a horrible tournament. This kid couldn't make it in the MVC!

This seriously made me laugh out loud. I honestly don't know what aspect he could help us. We have plenty of guys who can shoot bricks from NBA range.

I don't get it. All of you are judging this off of the 2 games you saw. Kid can flat out shoot, rebound, he is extremeley unselfish, and his basketball IQ is higher than all of yours. He knows how to play the game, and having college coaches who know how to mold a player will only make him better. He can only get better. Whoever gets him is getting a for sure sleeper stud. He's also just an all-around great kid.

If in 4 years this kid averages more than 10 points a game in a high level conference you can come back here and say I told you so. I just don't see it happening.... at all.

We could have had like 3 more players and still never sniffed the NCAAs.

Even when our team was full strength with Lucca, Boozer, JVB.. .we were still REALLY bad.

If we could have made free throws, we could have won four more games last season. We missed front end of one and ones and ion the last three minutes, we shot them like crap. That was part of our three minutes of hell.

If you wanted to play as a walk-on, this is the school to do it at. Overnight, you could go from being a walk-on at the end of the bench to seeing minutes the way Greg goes through players (see Alex Dorr).

That's quite the statement from someone who probably knows 0 people that are members of this site. Nice try though. Even if he gets a walk-on offer here, he will never see more than mop-up duty. If you think otherwise, lay off the pipe.

I only saw the kid play once, the infamous Hoover game, and I told my buddy who I was with that I thought the kid had a really high bball IQ. Really knew how to use and read screens and move without the ball. Wasn't great off the dribble, but good enough at using his dribble against high school kids to get himself space to get his jumper. Not sure if he is a d-1 athlete, but would be a very good get IMHO as a walk-on, very similiar to Dorr, a productive local kid, who could contribute in some way to the program, even if it is just a scout teamer and limited duty guy. It is always nice to see area kids have an opportunity.

ColfaxHawk, seems like you know the kid, and if so congratulations on his success as a high school player, whatever his future may hold.
