Ya! we're thinking OT even though we've never met the kid, seen him play or know anything else about him. Ya, OT. We are the ISU coaches now. All of us on this board. Cripe!

You're right. Everyone who is not a coach yet has an opinion please leave. I mean, all trolls leave.

 George Selvie is 5-10 250 pounds. He just finished his junior year of high school. This kid will weigh 260-280 range when he starts playing.
Pretty sure he is talking about this guy.

A lot of crazy talk in this thread. Since when is a senior in high school to be undersized when he is 6'7 230? GREAT GREAT GREAT size for a d end. Hope he has a motor

Unbelievable prospect, must keep the press on this recruit, big schools will come in late because of his injury last year, great job Coach Elliott

This is kinda what I was thinking too.

Some aren't happy about him... and I'm just hoping he stays with us after all the big time offers come in.

He may have only had 6 sacks, but it did say he missed games due to injury.
Welcome aboard, young man. You're going to love it here.

Not to mention a kid that tall is probably still growing into his body. I could EASILY see him at 255 by the time he's a RSFR and 270 by the time he's a JR. That would probably be the biggest DE ISU has ever had.

Let the kid get here first, guys.

There is a guy who is on our current roster that played a little quarterback in high school, was recruited to be a tight end here, and is now an all-American candidate at O-line.

Let him graduate first, and when he gets here, hits the weights and training table then we'll see where he stands. Right now he's just a kid...and we're recruiting him as a DE. So i'm just going to assume that that is the position that he is going to play here for now...things may change.

I trust the coaches. Even though he is from CA he know doubt grew u wanting to be a Hawkeye. When they didn't offer he came here.

Don't think that would be the case. He is actually a fairly early commit, so if he was wanting to go somewhere else, and waiting on an offer, he would likely have not committed to us already.
