Texas wants to hold the Big 12 together. Hard to believe, but true. In intense discussions with OU. May or may not work out.

Poised to move aggressively at this 18 pack of Keystone. I consider it the superconference of getting me drunk.

Not hard to believe at all. They dont want to give up their network or have to play as an equal.

How much would you like to wager with me that Texas/ESPN pull this together and OU gets some for of a nice shiny network or some form of a pile of cash from ESPN to save it. ESPN is likely in just as much of panic mode as Texas over this. It's in ESPN's best interest to stop 4 superconferences from becoming reality.

Baylor and ISU are in a similar boat, historically irrelevant in Fball, at present they have their seneca and will make some noise but in the end will be happy to visit Shreveport, while others feel confident if it comes down to KSU, BU and ISU, ISU prevails...not so sure about that. I don't think it comes to that, but BU, KSU are more relevant thant ISU to most in Fball, KSU for its success with the before he was Old Snyder and BU for its location in Texas..
Baylor just beat TCU. Maybe TCU should get the BE heave ho

Texas will do what is best for them as will OU they do not really care about anyone else, get used to it. If the conference holds together who caved? I just do not get it, certain teams being freaking babies LAME. The conference could make a lot of money if certain teams would just shut the hell up and get along with everyone else.

For once, i'm pulling for the longhorns.....I hope Deloss can pull a rabbit out of the hat.

Of course Texas wants to keep the Big 12 together. They're King of the Jungle in the Big 12. They rape everyone else and expect us all to bow down to them at every turn. Why wouldn't they love that arrangement?

Problem is... is OU gonna buy it? I probably wouldn't if I were OU. Texas will ALWAYS be a problem. It's gotten to the point that no other conferences really want Texas either, because they screw everything up wherever they go. The Pac 12 don't want the Longhorn Network either.

With any luck we will be there by Tuesday.

It would be cool to see Oklahoma use their power to get Texas to come into a BIG 12 Network instead of The LHN. I'm sure that is never going to happen, however Texas might do it if they think they can keep the conference in tact. Right now I think that is their priority. I really doubt Texas wants to go to the PAC12, when they have it easy in the Big 12.

Though I think I saw this was already posted, supposedly sources indicate Big Ten is in talks with Maryland:

Big East could add Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri - NYPOST.com

I've thought for a while that Delaney's end game involved ND/UNC/Duke and one of UVA/MD - I'd prefer UVA, but if the Big Ten is speaking to MD, it appears he'd prefer MD.

Who can tell what's actually been posted by this point?

This is an interesting, chaotic, and apparently fluid situation. I wonder if there actually is anybody who knows what's going on.

I believe these people can. And I am sad to admit that I wasn't man enough to keep up with my earlier commitment of posting the most in this thread.
