If true, I'd imagine they'll either put Pitt and Cincy in the north and send Louisville south OR we'll see some sort of Legends/Leaders type split (hopefully with better names).

Bobby Burton basically is reporting OU/Texas been running distraction with Pac/ACC talk. Officials with Louisville, Cinci & Pitt have been meeting with the Big XII

Very interesting, especially in light of the FSU announcement to study realignment, along the with the earlier reports that the Big 12, ACC, and Big East commisioners have been talking.

Perhaps the Big East is going to become a non-FB league??? The FB teams will be spun off into the Big 12 and ACC. FSU might not like what's going on, or the agreement might have them destined for the Big 12.

BYU would be a much better choice than Cincy both for athletics and academics.
I would be surprised if two commuter schools like Louisville and Cincy would be added. Louisville would be fine with BYU and Pitt, but not with Cincy.

When/where was it reported that the Big 12, ACC, and Big East commisioners have been talking?

In his announcement, Mister Jones indicated that he wishes he was someone just a little more funky. To that, I say, "pass me a JAR, Mister Jones."

Had to be the first (on this thread) with the easy jokes on that one.

Well done, and I see what you were doing here, but I think I've fixed it for you...

Funny, for the last 2 weeks we've been asking everyone, "why not ISU?" Now we have people posting that you can't take weak teams because it weakens the conference and our negotiating power. Funny how one rumor putting us in a position of power rather than powerless can change everything.

I agree, it's laughable, but as long as people still believe we are aligned with Texas, we do have bargaining power, but only in the reality of, "If Texas and OU want what we want"
