"Your position is that BYU, Louisville, West Va and Cincinnati is an upgrade over Nebraska, Texas A&M, Colorado and Missouri?"
Let's look at what the Big 12 has lost/will lose:
A&M: No top 5 finish in over a half century, no national title since the 30s, one Big 12 title 13 years ago. Meaningless.
Nebraska: A power when they could bring in partial qualifiers, they became irrelevant in the Big 12 when they had to use players who could spell their own names. Nebraska played Texas 10 times and lost 9. They will get skull-****ed by Wiscy this Saturday.
Colorado: If I remember correctly, their last Big 12 title game appearance was a 70-3 loss.
Mizzou: Full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing
Great points.
WVU, BYU, Cincy and Louisville have all done much more in the past 5 or 6 yeras than Aggie, CU, Mizzou, and Nebraska, at least on the field.
3 BCS Bowl wins between the 4 schools we're proposing to add, and NONE between the schools we're losing. Last BCS bowl win for them was maybe CU in '01 or something like that.
