What happened to Tirrell?

He NEEDS to be on the radio in this market. While he's often full of hot air and a lot of times has strange "sources" for this and that, I still think he's the most entertaining radio guy in this market. Much better than Murph/Andy and Miller/Brinsen.

Ultimately, it would be nice to see him team up with Ken Miller again.

I agree. I like his show better now than I did on KXNO. He's annoying at times. But good at times, too. I think M&A is better, though. I hope he didn't get fired or anything. But it's kind of weird that his show is gone from the website.

Disagree.

Agree with your disagreement. I like Ken's curmudgeonly commentary.

I'm pretty sure I heard Tirrell on this past Monday, don't remember listening to 1700 at all yesterday, but I'm interested to hear what he may have done this time to get himself kicked off the air.

Agreed. Very entertaining. He really does know sports inside and out, just likes to get under people's skin.

I miss Marty and Miller.

I can't believe anyone will notice. I wouldn't be surprised if 1700 kills all local programming.

Me too. Ken is one of my favorites on the air. He just tells it as it is.

I like Kenny, but he's definitely taken on a "Debbie Downer" role about everything it seems.

Conference realignment was a great example. He wasn't rooting for ISU's demise, but it was like he was 100% convinced we were MAC bound, even though if you were well read on the subject, you knew that horrifying outcome was very unlikely.

Well, he is well past the age of 28, so it is quite possible he turned to dust and blew away.

The rumor I heard was that his dentist is on vacation, so he doesn't have anything to talk about at the moment
