How ironic. I facepalm to just about every thing you say. Oh and one other thing, when you picked out your avartar, was your goal to pick the worst possible avatar of all time? Because if it was, I would say..mission accomplished.

Avartar? We need an intelligent requirement here.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

How about, "The Mayor, aka Master Chef." or "Welcome to Hilton's Smorgasbord of basketball."

"Hmmmm, Meatloaf"
"Home of the Scrumptious CY Tenderloin Sandwich"
"Local Produce, Farm Beef, Grillin' Cooking"
"Down Home Cooking for the Best"
"Jethros - just like home bbq"

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Do any of you think that Rashad will commit after our game win or lose? I know there has been lots of speculation out there but for some reason the longer he waits the more I wonder about our chances.

Probably not. I think he still has other visits after ours. Even if he doesn't I doubt he will commit right there at Hilton anyways.

I kind of doubt it. I think he'll at least take his official to UNLV and maybe some others before he commits. Although he did tweet that he would commit soon, but who knows what soon means to a 17 year old....

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Gut feel. He will sign during the early period. If he wants to be one and done, he should pick a school soon so that he can line his ducks up early to be ready to roll next year.

I think he will sign the papers and ask Fred not to announce it until spring. That way he gets to make his visits and he knows he has a great future locked up. :jimlad:

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Now the parting response from Walgreen's employees - are they signing Royce next?

I can't even buy anything at Walgreen's anymore.

Solid Business model:

1) Clean stores
2) Fair Prices
3) Good Selection
3) Post up at valuable locations
4)Take all of those good things and flush it down the toilet by having some of the weirdest, creepiest employees, 3/4 of which appear to be working there to get their Valium discount and have your last thought before walking out of the store be, "Be Well? That was weird, do they all say that? Are they required to say that? Should you say that to someone else when you yourself are obviously Not Well? A simple thank you would have been far less off-putting."

Nope. The earliest he'll commit is after his UNLV visit which is next weekend. I still believe he will stay true to his word and wait until the spring to choose his destination. There is definitely no way he signs during the early signing period. Even if he does commit to a school there is still plenty of time between now and the late signing period to make him change his mind.

RV can have his college decision made and still take official visits... See: Allen Lazard.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

In a jaw-dropping Hilton moment at halftime, Rashad rides out on a unicycle (ala "Ed") with a gigantic pen and signs his LOI with an entourage of lions in tow, one-upping the halftime dog show.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Can anyone explain the "all we do is eat" thing to this old man? Maybe I'm just extra grumpy as a 30 year old, but it sounds incredibly stupid, yet it's everywhere.
