I would say he cares more about being good at track and cross country than wrestling which seems pretty personal. Wrestling is our most successful sport historically and and we were on the map amongst a very loyal audience in that sport. It does matter. P1ssing away our relevance in the only sport we are a "blue blood" very well could be part of Jamie's legacy. That said he is a great AD, my main problem with me is he cannot control his impulsively . He needs to have a way to let better heads prevail, if he doesn't he will eventually do something he can't survive professionally. This is underrated. Wrestling doesn't really matter. Cael wasn't run off. He wanted everything and ISU cannot and wouldn't not give him that. PSU would. Chizik and McD were both universally thought of as good hires. Then he took a chance on Hoiberg that a lot of guys wouldn't have taken and time will tell on Rhoads, but that was a risky one as well. His job is to make money. He has done that in numerous different ways.
