So he said he was dismissed, so that would lead me to believe he is being kicked off the team. If he did something to warrant his dismissal why are they keeping him around for the rest of the spring?

I know we lack depth at that position and all, but we are kind of acting like he is Reggie White or something...

I may be alone, but looking at his play from the second half of the season, I would say that Coe has enough talent and measurables to be a guy who could get a look from NFL scouts. That would have been under a scenario where he continued to improve and had another good year in 2014. He looked to have the tools in my opinion.

I think that just means he'll stay on scholarship and stay in school for the rest of the semester.

Probably waiting to release the info at the right time. Coe took it upon hismelf to do that when he would take the least heat after a bball win.

He has to be our most irreplaceable player right? Maybe Tribune or Bundrage is close?

He's been at spring practice. No chance its grades already with some time left in the school year. Nothing with the law we've seen. Interesting

This sucks but things like this usually work out in the long run. He clearly can't get his crap together and could be pulling down other players. I have coached a lot and one bad egg can bring down a team. I don't know if that was the case but his athletic skill didn't get him kicked off the team.

No. No one is close. His potential was bigger than anyone realizes.

to those who think this isn't a devastating blow to our defense I say wake up. This is devastating. Our defense will be atrocious. Way to screw up a free education and a decent chance at life.

right...little stuff

Given that's he's sitting out contact drills, rehabbing his shoulder, what else besides the 'little stuff' was he to be focusing on this Spring? It's really hard to believe. Some of these guys can't get out of their own way long enough to succeed. Cheese and Rice son....C'mon.

He's been attending spring practices though, so unless he was just dismissed today he is still working with the team.

It sounds like he missed meetings and was late. Not sure who I am angrier at. Him for being so absolutely careless or the coaches for letting it happen and then kicking him off the team.

Our defense is going to be absolutely terrible unless multiple players come out of nowhere.
