I'd like both, it's just hard to tell what Fred already has up his sleeve. Not to mention that if there is any truth to Fred's comment that Kourtlin Jackson might contribute he could fill one of the final two scholarship spots. I'd take an athletic forward in addition to a shooting guard. It will be interesting to see how things play out.
Not a chance, even if he does see some minutes next year.

i really want lee but he really doesnt fit ur style of play

SMH. You do realize Fred has had a different style all 4 years he's coached. Take the best talent where you can get it, and Fred will make a system to utilize their strengths.

This isn't true. He had to play with his back to the basket at the 5 for Temple, but per his interview he really wants to play face up at the 4. That's basically how all of our posts play.

You're exactly right, but it seems to get overlooked. Grab the best guys we can and get to work. Freddy will make it work.

Like acgclone said, he would fit in well. He is not a banger down low. He is much better suited for facing the hoop and cutting to the basket off pick-and-roll and penetration. He has the ability to run the floor well. The only thing he does not have is an outside shot- everything should be 10-feet and in for him.

He is the type of guy that would have been an even better player had he been utilized by Fred.

When does someone put together an "official" transfers list for this site, similar to the recruits list?

Well that was the original intent of this thread, just picked Lee as the first player to mention and it kind of snow balled with him from there. Though now that you say it I forgot to put "Official" in the title. My bad.

Seth Davis (per post mortem comments tonight on TruTV) obviously does not approve of programs making hay with transfers. He prefers programs be built the Iowa way. Did anybody else catch that? Too funny!

Wtf are you talking about? Fred plays to his players strengths every year. Our style changes every year.
the thing that makes us very hard to defend is that we always have 5 guys in the game that can shot 3s not counting edoize

Perfect fit. He steps into Niang's role/position and Niang steps into Ejims. Team gets bigger since the 3 and 4 are no longer undersized at all but plenty of perimiter shooting. Hogue starts at center and McKay and Nader play wherever in the front court.

Really makes the team more well rounded and deep than just adding a 2. And theres still time to find a 2 who can play right away even though I think the returning guards are good enough. (They'll all be better next year.)

5 3pt shooters on the floor is a nightmare for the defense. A good defense can often contain 2 good shooters. Once you get to 3 or more, the advantage shifts to the offense especially if the one or two guys who are not 3pt threats have to be accounted for inside of 15 ft. It might just take an extra pass or movement without the ball to get the shot that you want.

It is pretty funny considering the fact that a team of Royce, Kane, Babb, Clyburn, and Lucious would blow out any all star(using the term loosely) Fran McCaffery "right way" team.
