Do not like. Does anyone know who the two schools are?

I agree with this, but we got extremely lucky getting Warren so late in the recruiting process. I think it's Ozigbo or the JUCO guy as a back up plan.
A backfield of Warren and Ozigbo a couple of years down the road would be wonderful. The WR position is trending upward, a couple of promising QBs in the fold... The potential is there for Mangino. Ozigbo would be a wonderful piece to add for him.
QB DeLira
RB Ozigbo
RB Warren
WR Lazard
WR Montgomery
WR Wesley
That could be a pretty lethal offense. Did I just ********** a football thread?
Just from looking at the scholarship chart, I think this class will be about 17.
For remaining commits, I'd guess it ends up being
1-RB
1-WR
1-TE
3-OL
1-DE
2-DT
1-LB
1-CB/S
IMO, it will be less. But there could be some attrition we are not aware of. Coaches have a better feel for that.
Just wondering where the attrition would come from.
I assumed we lose 5 players through attrition. I think that is pretty average for the last couple of years from injuries/getting kicked off the team.

In b4 ...but why did we fire Dan crowd?I counted 12 scholarship seniors on the roster plus 3 walk-ons who may or may not have scholarships. Anywhere from 15-20 in this class.
And this leads to another point. I wouldn't call this team "young", but the best/most talent is in the last 2-3 classes. That is why the negativity surrounding the program is unwarranted at this point.
Sorry people, but no coach has ever turned the ISU program into a perennial 7-8-9 win/year program. Expecting the current guy to have done it by now is just completely ignoring the facts. One bad year doesn't mean the program is falling apart.

Possible. But we have a lot of youngsters pushing into the 2 deep that won't be leaving and I just don't see that much attrition happening in the next year in looking at the names. Hate to speculate on who they could be. And then you have to factor that a guy like Devron Moore who returned is now a non-scholarship player who could earn a scholarship back for the 2015 season.
Of course there could be a greyshirt or two in this class that we are not aware of. Although I am not who they might be.
Are you new to college football??? There are that many players every year that either get injured and quit, quit, or transfer on basically every team across the country.

After thinking about I think Ozigbo picks ISU. The staff told him they won't get any more RBs and that he can play as a freshman. Plus the fact he gets to play games where his family can come watch.
Iowa is pursuing multiple backs and in addition Markel Smith a recruit from last year is stating he will enroll in January. He wouldn't get to play near home and he would likely redshirt. So I'll go ahead and pick ISU.
This. Not surprising. Simpler, more risk free route to early playing time.
Barkley Hill logic. Didn't work though.
I realize that. But look at our roster and where the players are on the depth chart. We have 12 seniors according to the scholarship chart. And in looking at the scholarship chart we only have 37 defensive players on scholarship. So that leaves little room for attrition there.
That leaves the offensive side of the ball. It is possible that someone like Trevor Hodge could move on if he doesn't feel he has a good shot at DB. And the same with Justin Webster at RB. And perhaps a young lineman or a young receiver. But you get guys that are Juniors this season and have already Redshirted then it is rare that they would transfer. I am speaking as if Richardson would lose out at QB, which may not even be the case. We have seen it play out that a senior QB like Richardson, even if he loses the starting QB job, is only a play or two away from being back on the field.
I just don't see it in the numbers and in the players we have on the roster and where they are at in their careers to suggest a fair amount of attrition. We have already had it in those classes. And that is part of our problem.
Kinda like when Barkley Hill decommitted from ISU?
No excuses to be made from Hawk fans, really. Ozigbo was a top 3 RB target of ours and didnt get him. The ones that are saying "we didnt want him", or things like that, are really a bad vocal minority. Fortunately, Iowa has done well in the past couple years with RB recruits, so when its still a bummer that we didnt (wont) get him, we still have some good guys at the position that will (hopefully) pan out. The key is to keep them healthy
