I believe that Michigan also said that they will not come back, that they made a mistake scheduling a game in Hilton.

Is this really happening, that we have someone pushing that Phog Allen isn't a dominant home court advantage?

I'm no lover of Kansas, but that place is a house of horrors for visiting teams. The noise and environment in the game I attended there was more intense than a game in Hilton, and we're plenty intense.

The fluky part was Will Clyburn's total disappearing act, and Korie Lucious forgetting for quite a while that he had ever played basketball before.

And I also struggle to call Iowa a good team with the way they folded like a cheap suit last year, but I know that plenty disagree with me on that.

This made me laugh.

They lose Marble; ISU loses Ejim and Kane. Is ISU the only team that can successfully replace a good player? As for Jok, has Nader's suspension length been announced yet? Look, I wouldn't be surprised to see ISU win that game at all. I think ISU is the more talented team but a road game against a good team is not always won by the most talented team. ISU was more talented than most of the teams they lost to on the road last year.

Iowa State is FAR more talented than Iowa. That doesn't mean we can't lose, but the players we are bringing back from last years team, along with our new guys, replace Kane and Ejim much better than Iowa can. I think this is the year we get one back at Phog!

We are going to lose a few along the way, but I could easily predict right now that the National Title game will be Iowa State against our nemisis, Kansas. I love the way Fred has his guys ready for the Dance, they are mentally prepared for the dance. What teams stand between ISU and the NT? KU, UK, UConn, Arizona, and possibly UT. If Uconn is the best the country can put up against us last year, I like our chances if we stay healthy.

It would be great to see Kansas show up for the tournament again.

I am very aware of KU's record at home. I know the beware the Phog. It is definitely one of the best places to play in college baskteball. But teams go in there and win. Heaven forbid, Iowa even went in there and one fairly easily. On the intimidation scale, I give it a 9.5. I give Hilton a 10 on that scale. The difference is that those KU fans paying 50K to sit in the lower bowl are a little more laid back than cyclone fans. Everyone in the business knows that Hilton can rattle your brain like no other arena. The magic is real.
When was the last game you attended at Allen Field House? Bill Self has been at KU for 11 seasons and has a home record of 145-7. Let that sink in for a while. In the last seven years they have lost three home games; one to SDSU who was a #4 seed in the tourney that year, one to Okie State who was a #5 seed in the tourney that year and one to Texas 12 hours after Thomas Robinson learned that his mother died of a heart attack and the entire team was up all night consoling him. That's it. I admire your fandom and agree that Hilton is an excellent home court advantage but don't drive off the cliff to make your point.

We have Fred, they have Fran. Case Closed.

I'm more afraid of the referees in PA than the crowd or or the way KU plays there or PA itself. One thing I will give Self and KU credit for is that they are killers when they get calls to start going their way. While the other team is still ******** about the last two poor calls KU has run the lead out from a tie to +10. They do that faster and more effectively than anyone.

And we have pictures of Kansas fans in Hilton with their fingers in their ears. I would thnk that they would be used to loud.

You're not thinking enough. Noise is noise anywhere, which would moot your crazy idea. Also, many Kansas fans travel because they can't get into Phog Allen. Getting a ticket there ain't easy.
Quasi-related, we picked out or season ticket seats yesterday. The season is almost here, people!!! Man, it's been a long summer already.

I've gone to the last 4 ISU games at PA and never had problems getting tickets
