I think people need to realize that Weber's history at Illinois isn't really applicable to KSU. The way he has the team built they'll be competitive for at least the next few years, and probably beyond. He's a pretty good coach.
Might be a good coach. But if you don't get the talent, it doesn't matter how good of a coach you are.
He's proven so far at K State, he can bring in talent. Last seasons frosh/transfer class they brought in was one of the more underrated in the conference, maybe entire country. I think the eligible transfers will allow K State to be improved over last year.
What's to explain? I wasn't at the scrimmage. And BTW, I posted this before it came up here in this thread.
And yes, we expect K-State to be improved and challenge for the league title. Of course, we thought that about football as well.

1.) these scrimmages mean about as much as the words my Cheerios spell in the morning.
2.) people are ******* ACHING to consume/ talk some CBB.
3.) I think the Big 12 could be a crazy tough conference this year. I can see the top 6 or 7 teams beating anyone on any given night. I can see nearly 10 possible candidates for POY.

Just look at Iowa's roster. There are a lot of fools that actually think Iowa will be a decent team. They are not good at all.
Southwell will be replaced by Justin Edwards. We'll have to see about the sweep.

I've looked at that same roster, I'm not a fool, and I disagree. Take a look at the polls from national analysts and you'll quickly see you, not me or them are in the minority. I'm not saying they have top 10 talent or even top 25 talent, but their talent level easily should be NCAA tourney level, unless they somehow wiz it down their leg again. Regardless, to say they aren't good at all is just ignorant.
This is a joke, right? Or a reaction getter? I dislike Iowa with a passion. However, even my Cyclone glasses can see Iowa will be decent and good. How good? Who knows......
